COVID-19 Member Update

AUSTKD
5 October 2021

Dear Instructors and Club Owners,

As you would be aware, Australia is nearly at the point of reaching COVID-19 vaccinations targets that will allow the re-opening of certain business sectors in NSW and VIC. Meanwhile, several other states are looking at vaccine requirements to attend businesses.

Our industry has experienced extreme operational hardship since the pandemic started. While we look forward to seeing states open up and operate in a COVID-normal environment, it is essential that clubs (and members) abide by the requirements as directed by their State Government.

The rules around COVID-19 change from state to state. For example, NSW and VIC have multiple requirements, depending on the local government area you are located in.

Due to the complex and changing nature of COVID-19 and rules differentiating from State to State, it is impossible for AUS TKD to provide you with updated information on a day-by-day or case-by-case basis that is relevant to your state.

As a business owner or operator, you are responsible for implementing best business practices in line with your State Government legislation, including those concerning public health and safety. We strongly urge you to keep yourself updated regularly by visiting your State Government's website for the most accurate and up-to-date information.

A COVID-19 information hub will be available on the AUS TKD website shortly. This area will provide links to information applicable to each state.

To protect our members and the wider community's health and safety, AUS TKD will always follow mandated requirements.

We acknowledge that our office is spread across many traditional lands, and we pay respect to all traditional owners of these lands and elders past and present.
