Ali Khalil
PERFORMANCE PATHWAY LEAD
Ali is responsible for the delivery of a sustainable performance pathway to identify and develop able and para-athletes to achieve future podium results. His role also extends to supporting and developing our coaching network to increase their expertise and capability.

Ben Exton
PARTICIPATION MANAGER
Ben has responsibility for the development of Taekwondo participation in Australia and fostering relationships with clubs to enhance their capability and capacity, including implementation of Taekwondo into the national sporting schools program. In addition Ben is also responsible the Company's media and communications services.

Ross Hartnett
NATIONAL PERFORMANCE DIRECTOR
To lead and direct the performance systems for Kyorugi & Poomsae in Australia. To build and direct a team of Australian Coaches to deliver the National training program in conjunction with the performance pathways lead and national performance coach. To work in collaboration with Combat Aus to achieve a sustainable pipeline of athletes and coaches in Australia.
Bronwyn Slatter
COMMUNICATIONS MANAGER
Bronwyn comes to Australian Taekwondo with a long history of working for member-based organisations in the sports sector. Bronwyn's work across media, marketing and communications has seen her work to promote major events, participation initiatives, athletes, and community clubs. Bronwyn has a passion for hands-on roles that connect communities through sport and deliver rewarding outcomes for anyone who has a touchpoint with Taekwondo.
Troy Reason
FINANCE MANAGER
Troy comes to Australian Taekwondo with extensive experience in business and chartered accounting. He specialises in a company’s overall strategic plan and implementing systems and procedures to make the company’s vision a reality. He has had great success with many businesses in this area due to his ability to transform a company’s financial system in to one that provides timely, relevant information that helps executive teams and Boards make better decisions about the future direction of the company.

Appointed to the board 5 September 2019 and appointed Chair on 9 December 2020. Simon holds the position of Clinical Advisory Chairman and Dentist in Charge at HCF - Australia's largest Not For Profit health insurer.

Appointed 8 April 2020. Leanne has over 25 years of experience in the IT industry across Australia, Asia-Pacific and USA, working with enterprises and government organisations. Leanne also has a diverse business and leadership skillset in sales, marketing, strategy, mergers and acquisitions, process digitisation and transformations.
Keshena Waterford
ELECTED DIRECTOR
Appointed 9 December 2020. Keshena is Company Manager of a large successful multi Martial Arts Organisation and has a well rounded understanding of core business practices. She is currently pursuing a Masters in Business and Administration Keshena has successfully represented Australia and competed internationally. As well as coaching internationally and officiating she has helped found the International Taekwondo Alliance, a global network of high-performance coaches and athletes.
Allan Malachowski
ELECTED DIRECTOR
Appointed 9 December 2020. Allan is Director and Head Instructor at a successful martial arts club as well as having an extensive background in the corporate sector as a Chief Financial Officer. Allan has been involved in Martial Arts for over 40 years following in the footsteps of his father who was an accomplished boxer. Allan has pursued many styles of martial arts including Boxing, Kickboxing, Taekwondo, Judo, BJJ and Karate; building up years and years of experience. As a coach Allan is highly regarded within the martial arts community as a leader producing some of Australia’s best martial arts athletes.
Justine Cameron
APPOINTED DIRECTOR
This year we welcome Justine Cameron as an Appointed Director.
Justine currently serves as Head of Legal at AIA, Head of Regulatory Engagement and Compliance at CommInsure, and Senior Legal Counsel for CBA. Justine has degrees in law and commerce. Having previously worked globally, she brings extensive experience to the Board as a senior lawyer, finance, risk and compliance expert. Justine’s AusTKD portfolio is Chair of AusTKD’s
FARM committee.
