EOI -National Poomsae Team Coaches/Trainers

Australian Taekwondo invites members to apply for the positions of National Poomsae Team Coaches (2 positions) and possibly Trainers dependant on team size for the 2022 World Poomsae Championships, to be held on April 21 to 24 in Goyang, Seoul, Korea. Expressions of interest must be submitted by 4:00 pm (AWST) February 17, 2022.

The position will entail team technical training, team supervision, mentoring, and team preparation as directed by the Head Coach. The team may encompass ages 12 -70 years.

  • Good communication skills
  • Good written skills
  • Excellent behavioural standards
  • Excellent technical knowledge
  • Excellent knowledge of Poomsae rules

Selection to the team does not guarantee funding to any events, camps or the World Championships. Limited funding may be available for Coaches/Trainers subject to the funding sources available to Australian Taekwondo.

  • A current qualified Poomsae referee and the level
  • Proof of COVID-19 Vaccinations
  • Current passport (or application for renewal)
  • Working with Children Check

Please note: South Korean visa requirements state that all travellers entering the country need to have a passport valid for at least 6 months that contains between one or two blank pages.
