Applications open for Pathway Program Talent Recruitment Camps

In collaboration with each State Association, a recruitment process to select athletes for the Australian Taekwondo Performance Pathway Program will commence in May.

Clubs, athletes and parents have been invited to join a Zoom video call on Tuesday, April 18, to learn more about our talent recruitment process and understand the intent behind strengthening the alignment and collaboration between Australian Taekwondo, States, and Clubs for the benefit of our sport. 

We encourage clubs to share their zoom link information with their relevant athletes and parents who participate in competition Taekwondo as they are encouraged to attend. If you are a club owner and have not received this information, please check you spam/junk e-mail folder.

Performance Pathway Talent Recruitment Camp Schedule 

SA - Saturday May 6th & Sunday May 7th 2023
NSW/ACT - Saturday May 13th & Sunday May 14th 
QLD - Saturday May 20th & Sunday May 21st
VIC - Saturday May 27th & Sunday May 28th 
*Tasmania and Western Australia are to be confirmed. 

How to apply

Applications are now open for our 2023 Talent Recruitment Camps, and we invite athletes to apply to be considered for the Performance Pathways Program.

To be eligible, athletes must be:

Belt level: Black Belts Only
Age: Seniors, Juniors and 2022 Cadet athletes (born 2009)
Member: Current AUSTKD member and holder of a National Athlete License
