2026 Australian Taekwondo Annual General Meeting (AGM)

In accordance with Section 10.3 of the Constitution, notice is hereby given that the 2026 Annual General
Meeting (AGM) of Australian Taekwondo (AT) will take place on 3:00pm (AEST) 2nd October 2026 in person at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC) or via Video Conference.

The formal notice of meeting will be released on the 11th September 2026, outlining the business to be conducted, including:

All information required to be included in accordance with the Corporations Act;
• In the case of a proposed special resolution, the intention to propose the special resolution and
the terms of the proposed special resolution and the terms of the proposed special resolution;
• Where applicable, any notice of motion received from any voting member or Director in
accordance with the Corporations Act; and
• A list of all nominations received for positions to be elected at the relevant general meeting.

Call for Nominations:

We are now calling for nominations for election to the Board of Directors of AT. This process will be
supported by the AT Nominations Committee. If you wish to nominate for an Elected Director position,
please click the link below to access the Director Nomination Form, noting that nominations are via an
online form and must be received by 5:00 pm (AEST) 4th September 2026.

Board Director Nomination Form:

The Constitution also requires that the Directors are elected using the ‘first past the post’ system,
accordingly the nominee receiving the highest number of votes after each round will serve a three-year term. There will be three (3) vacated Elected Director positions to elect. To support meeting the requirement of Constitution cl 13.1(g), at least two (2) elected directors must be male.

Call for Notices of Motion or Special Resolution:

Additionally, we are calling for any notices of motion or proposed special resolutions to be dealt with by
the meeting. All ‘Notices of business’, and proposed ‘Special resolutions’ must be received via email
secretary@austkd.com.au by 5:00 pm (AEST) on the 4th September 2026, in accordance with Section 10.3 (b) of the Constitution. Late submissions will not be accepted under any circumstances.

Lodgement of Proxies:

Under the Australian Taekwondo Limited Constitution, lodgement of proxy or attorney documents must
be submitted via email to secretary@austkd.com.au at least 48 hours prior to the commencement of
the Annual General Meeting. Late lodgement of these documents will not be accepted.
