Australian Taekwondo, together with Judo Australia and Boxing Australia, welcomes Bronwen Knox to the role of National Integrity Manager. 

Bronwen will work across the three national bodies and will be responsible for embedding the National Integrity Framework and member policy implementation across all levels of each sport to ensure clubs, coaches, participants, and volunteers have confidence that they are participating in a safe, clean, inclusive, and fair sport.

A four-time Olympian and former Member of Australia's National Women's Water Polo Team (The Stingers), Bronwen comes to the role with a strong legal and public health background. 

Bronwen has been working on a casual basis with the National Sports Tribunal, which hears and resolves sports-related disputes in Australia, and in a part-time capacity as a Reviews Officer for the Office of the Information Commissioner (Queensland). She has previously been an Education Presenter for Sports Integrity Australia, working across anti-doping, competition manipulation, and child protection training.

Bronwen is pleased to commence the role and the diversity of working across combat sports. 

"I'm really looking forward to getting involved and working in this space with Taekwondo, Judo and Boxing," said Bronwen.

"Sport provides us with the opportunity to engage within our community, be an avenue for inclusion and diversity, and teach us invaluable life skills. My time as an athlete has shown me the good, the bad and the ugly sides of sport. I hope to bring my experience and skills to this new role and take a proactive approach to mitigate integrity threats to sports and provide a safe, fair and healthy environment for participants at all levels of sport."

Australian Taekwondo Chief Executive Officer, Heather Garriock, is delighted to see Bronwen start across Taekwondo's Integrity portfolio and play a critical role in elevating Taekwondo's professional standards.

Bronwen will be the point of contact for those in our community who have grievances with Taekwondo and will work to support members, educate on processes, and resolve matters amicably. "

The National Integrity Manager is responsible for conducting high-quality and timely evaluations and will be the NSO point of contact for integrity and complaint-related matters for each National Sporting Organisation.
