General Information

The term of Committee Members will be two years, with the possibility of one extension equalling a maximum term of four years. Each committees typically meet monthly or bi-monthly. An Australian Taekwondo Staff and Board Member will actively participate in each committee, fostering a unified approach and strengthening the connection between the Board and the broader Taekwondo community.

Appointment Process

Australian Taekwondo ensures a transparent and fair process for appointing members to its National Committees. Opportunities are promoted through an online application form on our website. Applications are reviewed by the Nominations Committee, which provides recommendations to the AT Board for final approval. Successful and unsuccessful candidates are then notified, ensuring clarity and accountability throughout the process.
