In Taekwondo, courtesy, integrity, perseverance, self-control and indomitable spirit should guide all students and instructors. Our members should amplify these values,
and those of Australian Taekwondo, to ensure a safe, respectful and welcoming martial art and sport for all. Australian Taekwondo takes a zero-tolerance stance with respect to abusive language, behaviour and harassment, regardless of hierarchy.
Our formal complaints procedure is crucial to document, listen to, and address each complaint appropriately and in accordance with national policies.
Every club and member is responsible for providing accurate contact details on our
National Membership System so we can inform you of important information, like governance and policy updates related to your membership.
Where a club chooses to list its club email or head instructor email address as an individual member's email address, the onus is on the club or head instructor to pass on the information. Australian Taekwondo takes no responsibility for emails not received by a member due to incorrect contact information on a club or member's profile.
Team and staff selection policies provide a fair and unbiased selection process, which facilitates the selection of the best team of athletes and support staff who will potentially achieve the best results when representing Australia.
